Community Reporting is all about storytelling. We
use basic digital skills to help people to tell their
own stories, in their own ways

At the heart of what we do is helping people to find their voice – whether that is through words, photos, on audio or with video – and describe their own realities through storytelling.
We are currently working with The Gathering Ground to recruit people from the Northampton area to become Community Reporters.
As part of this project, we want to use storytelling to open up a conversation about FGM within the community to raise awareness of the issue. As part of an informal
training programme, participants will gather stories on the topic of FGM and use these stories to inform and educate others.
